Have you been following my grain journey? I am currently transitioning off the GAPS diet, which is a temporary healing protocol for fixing gut flora imbalance among other things. Fortunately for me, Ann Marie at CHEESESLAVE happens to be starting a Healthy Whole Grains E-Course, chock full of more than 100 recipes, 50 video tutorials, and 12 weeks of online classes. That is a great package, and from one of my favorite bloggers!
And fortunately for all of you, Ann Marie has agreed to give away one membership to her class for FREE to one of you, my lucky and lovely readers! See below the fold to enter the giveaway! You just might win! In the meantime, sign up for the class, and if you happen to win, you will get your fee refunded at the end of the giveaway on February 14th.
And I know Ann Marie: she wouldn’t be saying that making your own traditionally prepared grains is simple unless it truly is. We are all busy, so I trust that her tips and tricks will be very worthwhile and practical. You will learn all about how to sprout, soak, and sourdough your grains. I spoke yesterday about what I really like about the class, but you have to come and see for yourself. I’m really excited to take it!
This giveaway will run from today until midnight February 14th. February 14th is also the last day you can sign up for the Healthy Whole Grains class for the launch discount price of $149 (normally $199). And don’t forget that if you sign up by February 24th, you get an additional $20 off by using the coupon code “LASTCHANCE”. That works out to less than $11 per class! Sign up here.
The giveaway is now closed. But you can still sign up for the class!
The Healthy Whole Grains E-Course is on sale right now for $149, but for a few more days (until Sunday February 12) there is a special $20 off coupon “LASTCHANCE”. Simply enter it during checkout, and you will get $70 off! I am also going to grab this $199 class for only $129 while I can. Hurry and sign up before Sunday and get the best deal!

Oh! Pick me! I had already visited the healthy whole grains site and watched the video. But I did it again, just for good luck.
Aaaand I signed up for your email newsletter. Not sure why I hadn’t already done that. But it’s done and done now.

And you better believe I like Cheeseslave on fb. I find some of the most interesting debates happening over there.
And just because I almost never am able to do ALL of the entries… here is why I want to win:
I am interested in learning more about how to prepare grains in a way that is SIMPLE. I’m just starting to get a handle on making my own sourdough and could use any tips. I know there is a lot to learn and feel like it would be good for my family. I really do enjoy grains (in moderation) and want to make them as useful as possible.

Went to AnnMarie’s page (I live there). Signed up for your email updates. While I would love to do the ecourse myself, I’m actually entering in hopes that I can win and gift to a friend who’s just starting her journey into Real Food. She could very much use this class as opposed to spending time away from her family researching the info. This would also afford the wealth of knowledge while saving her pennies for the actual food she needs to purchase! : )

Why I want to win the e-course? Because I have been learning about traditional food and nutrition for a long time, but am not an experienced cook to begin with, and the art of traditional grains preparation is very overwhelming to me. On top of that, I definitely can’t afford the class, but a class like this is exactly what I need! So winning it would be such a blessing

I’d love to win this class because the approach to preparing grains has been the only thing I have struggled with while adapting a traditional foods diet. It would be excellent to have a comprehensive way to learn to do everything, so I’m not afraid that I’m poisoning my family or missing out on eating some of my favorite foods!

I really want to take this class because I have four kids and I want the very best for them in every way possible. They desperately want to eat bread and pizza and chips again and I just don’t know how to make them WAPF ways. We soak our grains and nuts and seeds. Beyond that, I have no clue what to do. On one income it’s important that I learn these things to save us some moolah, kwim?
Me? I’d simply love to have a slice of warm bread slathered in grass-fed butter! Nomnomnom. Thanks for the chance to win the class! Best of luck, everybody!

I would like to win so that sprouting becomes less of a insurmountable obstacle and more of a “but this is actually easy!” A lot of issues around the birth of our child and complications following have left an enormous hole of exhaustion that makes even easy things take days to accomplish and sprouting and soaking fall into that category.

My husband and I have been doing a kind of paleo diet. However, I feel that we have been eating way too much meat. I would like to incorporate more grains. Personally, I think I do better with some grains in my diet. But I know the dangers and problems with grains and carbs if not prepared properly. I am desperate to put HEALTHY grains back into my diet. Thank you

I’ve been following a NT diet for almost 2 years now & it’s been slow going but as a family we are getting there. For me, the whole soaking, sprouting & sourdough just hasn’t clicked yet. I understand the benefits of it & why it should be done but I just haven’t managed to make it fit us yet. It has definitely been the toughest transition for my family. The sprouting in 5 mins a day & making bread in 5 mins a day really appeal & I hope that the course will give me the confidence & knowledge to make traditionally prepared grains work for us.
I would like to win this course because, while I’ve dabbled in sourdough, sprouting, and soaking I can’t seem to get an easy, consistent practice of it going. I know that Ann Marie doesn’t have time to spend hours a day in the kitchen and I’m sure she has many wonderful tips and information about the hows and whys of healthy grains.
I went to the website and looked around.

I would LOVE it if I could win this e-course! I love learning about anything, especially when it comes to food and nutrition. It is my passion. I also have a family of eight people and money is tight so I have to try hard to make balanced meals. We eat a LOT of grains (especially wheat/bread). And I mean like 12-14 loaves a week plus rice and beans, and oatmeal! So I think I could be “pulling some extra vitamins and minerals out thin air” so to speak.
I attended the free webinar that I saw on Food Renegade, too.

Why do I want to take the course? Because I’m always looking for new ideas to use in my kitchen. I’m fairly good at sourdough already but I have no experience whatsoever in sprouting & soaking.
why? Well I would love to learn how to make sourdough & I guess I’m confused with soaking, if grains are even good for us, gluten, & sooooo much more!!!!
