Yes on Prop 37 GIVEAWAY: Theo Chocolate — $70 value

Your ears perked up when you heard I was doing a chocolate giveaway, right?  I don’t blame you.  And this chocolate from Theo Chocolate just begs to be eaten slowly, savored as it melts.  It’s truly a chocolate you can feel good about eating.  I know I do!

Theo Chocolate is one of my favorite chocolate companies.  I love all the flavors they have, and I love that they are organic, fair trade, and Fair for Life.  And now I love the fact they are supporting Prop 37 in California.  This is the kind of company that I support, and feel good choosing to purchase safe, real food from.

It’s not surprising to me at all that Theo Chocolate is so heavily involved in in GMO labeling and doing what is right.  They are so interested and supportive of sustainable practices and social and environmental responsibility.  Plus Theo Chocolate is committed to making their people, the planet, and their profit equally valued, and all while they simultaneously produce excellent chocolate that they oversee from bean to bar.

It’s this kind of business practice that makes me feel appreciative and passionate about something simple like a chocolate bar.  And it’s this kind of business that you should support in the Prop 37 fight in California.  Donate, share this post on social media, or just raise awareness of the prop 37 and GMO issues in your personal circles.  Bonus: you could win $70 worth of chocolate to boot!

Vote YES on Proposition 37

Prop 37 is simple: if it passes, mandatory labeling of genetically modified foods will be required in the state of California.  California’s economy is so huge that if GMOs are labeled there, then the whole country will gain the initial benefit as the laws change in the other states as well.

I don’t know about you, but I want to know what is in my food.  And if there are genetically modified ingredients in the mix, I want to be aware of them.  I personally find GMOs to be hazardous to my health and the health of my family.  I am one of the people that Monsanto and the other companies funding the No on Prop 37 efforts fear.  When I know where GMOs reside, I won’t be buying them anymore.

Theo Chocolate is one of the companies that is standing by us in the fight for GMO labeling.  With the money that they raise from your donations through this giveaway, Prop 37 has better and better chances of passing in California.  Please, donate what you can, sign up for the giveaway, and then please share this post!

I’ve mentioned before that my son was born with a cleft lip and palate.  I do not trust Monsanto or any other company who assures me that GMO food is safe for his internal organs after his DNA has already been compromised by environmental stressors like pesticides, toxins, and genetically modified foods!  I am not an experiment, and neither are my kids.

Please share this post and raise awareness of the GMO food fight!

  1. I live in California and really hope I can soon have control over whether I’m eating GMOs or not.

  2. I’m voting yes on 37 because we should know what’s in our food!

  3. I wholeheartedly support Prop 37 because it’s only right for people to know what is in the food they are buying. It’s hard enough to feed our families healthy food when we have to read the labels, but when there is no information, that makes it impossible. I fear for where we are headed if this is not passed.

  4. I didn’t donate, but I support Yes on Prop 37 because I think people should be able to know which foods contain GMOs and make a decision about whether to buy those foods based on that information.

  5. I didn’t donate, but I support Prop 37, because I think labels
should be clear, so that everyone can understand what they buy and make informed choices in what they eat.

  6. I have already donated to the Yes on 37 campaign and, as a CA resident, I am urging all my friends and family members to vote “yes”. I don’t want to consume food containing GMOs and it is just wrong for companies not to disclose what is in their products. I try to buy only organic foods just to avoid GMOs.

  7. I support Yes on Prop 37 because I believe we have the right to know what is in our food. The U.S. is way behind in this and it is unacceptable.

  8. Laura P. Craig says:

I definitely support GMO Labeling as I strive to be a conscious consumer and believe that all companies should be required to inform consumers about their products! Thanks for the chance!
